The Security and Privacy Statement (this Statement) applies to this Small Business Hub website which is operated and managed by Melbourne IT Pty Ltd on behalf of Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ABN 11 005 357 522) ("ANZ") under the domain name "www.thesbhub.com" ("SB Hub").The SB Hub is operated on behalf of ANZ and its related bodies corporate (together called the "ANZ Group"). The information described in this Statement may be shared between members of the ANZ Group.
ANZ understands that as a user of the SB Hub, you may be concerned about your privacy, confidentiality and security of information we may gain about you online. ANZ is committed to protecting your privacy. This Statement explains how your personal information will be treated as you access and interact with the SB Hub.
Security of information
ANZ takes reasonable steps to preserve the security of cookie and personal information. If your browser is suitably configured, it will advise you whether the information you are sending us will be secure (encrypted) or not secure (unencrypted). If secure transmission is indicated, ANZ currently uses 128 bit SSL encryption.

Our arrangements with Melbourne IT Pty Ltd contain strict privacy and confidentiality obligations.
The manner in which we may use information you provide to us is set out in the SB Hub Terms and Conditions.
If you visit an unsecured area of the website (that is, an area where you are not required to log on) to read or browse information, our system may record the date and time of your visit to our site and the pages viewed. However, our systems will not record any personally identifiable information.
The SB Hub may also contain links to the websites of third party providers of goods and services ("Third Party Web Sites"). If you have accessed Third Party Web Sites through the SB Hub and if those third parties collect information about you, ANZ may also collect or have access to that information as part of our arrangements with those third parties.
Where you access a Third Party Web Sites from the SB Hub, cookie information, information about your preferences or other information you have provided about yourself may be shared between us and the third party. You cannot usually be identified from the information that is shared; if you can be identified from this information, we will seek your consent before sharing such information.
Third Party Web Sites may contain their own privacy statements and those third parties are responsible for their own privacy practices. Do we need to include indemnity provisions?
In addition, ANZ also uses Omniture by Adobe Systems, Incorporated and Google, Inc to collect information on how you utilise this website.
These companies may analyse and report to ANZ regarding use of the SB Hub by users, but the analysis is not based on individual personal information or usage. ANZ uses that analyses to measure effectiveness and relative consumer interest in the various areas of the SB Hub. As a general rule, no personal information is collected by the companies in this process. If, however, any personal information is automatically collected, these companies are required under their arrangements with ANZ to maintain the privacy and confidentiality of that personal information.
Links to social media pages
You may provide to ANZ links to your social media pages (eg, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn etc.). If you do so, you agree that ANZ may include these links in information that relates to you on the SB Hub. As examples, ANZ may include these links in a directory of SB Hub users and with all information and comment you post on the blog and forum. These links will then be available to any SB Hub user and the general public.
We may also seek to link to you, or request you link to us, using your social media links.

ANZ encourages you to view this Statement periodically because it may be updated from time to time. ANZ may at any time vary this Statement by publishing a varied Statement on the SB Hub. You accept that by ANZ publishing the varied Statement on the SB Hub, ANZ has provided you with sufficient notice of the variation. How is the user alerted to the variation.
